About
Software engineer working across AI systems, backend infrastructure, and cross-platform clients — usually all three on the same product.
I build software end to end. Most of my work sits where a product surface, a data pipeline, and the services behind them all have to agree with each other — so I've ended up comfortable moving between a Compose UI, an ffmpeg pipeline, and a Postgres schema in the same week.
At COASTOK I'm the primary developer on a cross-platform learning product used by 15K+ people. That has meant shipping most of the production client from one shared Kotlin Multiplatform codebase, building the lecture media pipeline that cut 5 TB of video down to 80 GB of audio, writing a custom player over ExoPlayer and AVPlayer, and running the Ktor, FastAPI, and Node services underneath it.
Before that, at IBM through AllSoft Solutions, I built an object detection system on YOLOv5s — dataset preparation, training, evaluation, and inference — reaching 70% mAP across 20 classes.
What I keep coming back to is AI systems and the infrastructure that makes them usable: model routing, context and session management, cost control, and the unglamorous plumbing that decides whether any of it survives production. That's what Alter is about.
When a piece of internal work turns out to be generally useful, I pull it out and publish it. The Compose Multiplatform calendar component on Maven Central started that way.
